About the Role
This is a hybrid position located in Boulder, CO with at least 50% time in the office. The Workday UI Platform team is looking for an experienced Product Manager to focus on developing, driving, and delivering platform capabilities that power the Workday product portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop and ship capabilities that enable scale and speed to market, increase customer and user satisfaction, and drive product adoption and growth.
What you'll be doing
Manage the product definition and delivery of platform capabilities that power the suite of Workday products
Function as a central resource with research, design, development, quality and testing as the product(s) move through their lifecycle
Identify and resolve issues that may hinder the team's ability to meet strategic and technical goals
Research consumer applications, competition, industry trends and technological trends
Drive product requirements and development for features that advance platform objectives
Analyze data to establish, monitor and measure success metrics
Prioritize features, bugs and partner with engineering to manage remediation and release process
Collaborate with complex multi-disciplinary teams across all functions of the organization to ensure successful product development and launch
Develop knowledge of Workday’s product offerings and capabilities in the context of the platform
Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ (and reason) during product development
Promote high team morale, excitement and momentum
About You
What we are looking for
A product manager who is:
Driven: motivated to craft human-centered experiences (Web/Responsive Mobile) that deliver business value
Organized: adept at product ownership, scrum, story creation
Collaborative: coordinate large-scale projects and teams to get things done
Communicative: engage effectively with customers and partners
Technical: work with engineers to navigate technical issues
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a Product Manager
4+ years of experience in successfully delivering user-facing and platform experiences for enterprise softwares
Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or equivalent field
Other Qualifications
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced team that focuses on highly technical areas
Ability to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and professionally
Excellent oral and written communication skills—adept at communicating complex concepts to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership
Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation
Ability to think about problems from different perspectives
Ability (and passion for) leveraging data informed analysis to define scalable solutions, develop roadmaps, and drive prioritization
Interest in AI and Machine Learning
Experience with Agile or Lean Software DevelopmentWorkday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
