Job Description

The Washington Post is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with expertise in sales performance reporting, revenue analysis, and revenue forecasting to join our dynamic Client Solutions team. The ideal candidate has a mastery of spreadsheets, can streamline complex datasets and reports, and has top-notch communication skills when interacting with key stakeholders. This role reports to the Director of Sales Operations & Revenue Analytics and is based at either The Post’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. or New York, NY working in a hybrid remote/onsite model.Motivation:

Generate regular reports on sales performance to plan and prior year by product and industryAssist with producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly advertising revenue forecastsEnsure revenue is mapped to the appropriate product, industry, and salespersonWork with leadership to set and analyze sales goals, forecasts, and pacingMaintain and organize large volumes of data from multiple data sourcesProactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting processesAssist with ad hoc requests as neededRequirements:
