As a Data Validation Associate, you will perform research to help validate our unique datasets and data models. You’ll be an early member of a small but growing group of researchers within the Product team who will help support Windfall’s continued growth by implementing systems and processes as the company scales.We’re on a mission to change how organizations perceive and use people data. Perform focused research on US households to help validate our models and datasetExplore and evaluate new datasets on populations, household finances, real estate, and moreInterpret and expand upon company data quality assurance standardsPerform analyses to ensure we continue to improve our product qualityCollaborate with Customer Success, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deliver new products at the highest qualityRequirements:
0-2 years of experience in a professional research role or equivalent demonstrated successExperience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, such as a start-up or a small non-profitBasic statistical analysis skills and understanding of data science conceptsExcellent verbal & written communication skillsUnderstanding of consumer financial data and signals of wealthKnowledge of and interest in SaaS or data companiesPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or a social science (e.g. Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Public Policy)Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets, Jira, and Looker StudioDomain knowledge of marketing technology and/or nonprofit prospect researchPrevious professional experience in nonprofit prospect research or management, wealth management, or marketing analyticsAdditional Information:
