Title:

Business Quality Analyst II

Job Overview: As a Business Quality Analyst II at our company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high quality of our software products. With a strong background in various phases of the Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and methodologies, you will contribute to the planning, design, and execution of software testing strategies. Your role will involve close collaboration with development teams, stakeholders, and global partners to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Testing:

Conduct Manual, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Black Box, Unit, GUI, and QTC Testing. Ensure thorough Verification & Validation of software products.

Test Planning and Design:

Develop and design test cases and scripts based on project requirements. Utilize your understanding of software development and testing life cycles (SDLC, STLC) to optimize testing processes.

Bug Reporting and Management:

Utilize tools such as HP ALM and Azure DevOps (VSTS) for effective bug tracking and reporting. Prioritize and manage defects to resolution.

Quality Assurance Process Enhancement:

Apply knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), traceability, and estimation techniques to improve the quality assurance processes.

Renewal Quoting:

Handle the creation of renewal quotes, particularly for regions like Japan and South Korea, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regional standards.

Automation Testing Support:

Assist in writing test data for automation execution and have a working knowledge of creating XPath and running automation scripts in Selenium.

L2 Business Support:

Provide Level 2 support to users and global partners, resolving queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Team Collaboration:

Work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with various departments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology or software development environment.

Proficiency in software testing methodologies and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

Familiarity with software quality standards and best practices.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
