Mid-sized women-owned education law firm with statewide practice representing school and community college districtsseeks an attorney to join its Labor, Employment and Personnel Practice Group.Candidates will be considered for the following DWK offices: Sacramento, East Bay, San FranciscoQualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience, including the below qualifications:Labor, employment and personnel experienceExperience with labor negotiations, including serving on a negotiations team; developing and drafting bargaining proposals, side letters and MOUs, developing negotiation plans and strategies; and effectively negotiating collective bargaining agreements and MOUsExperience with the Educational Employment Relations Act or similar labor relations statute preferredExcellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skillsFlexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entitiesPublic entity representation is preferred but not required; and prior school district representation is a plusAdmission to the California State BarAn offer of employment will be contingent upon being fully vaccinated and providing proof of your COVID-19 vaccine upon commencing employment.
