Long Beach or San DiegoQualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of legal experience, including the below qualifications:Litigation and/or administrative process experience, including handling discovery and preparing pleadings; experience in mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials a plusLabor, employment, and personnel experienceExcellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skillsFlexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entitiesExperience with student matters, including discipline and/or special education preferredEducation law experience and/or public entity experience preferredAdmission to the California State BarAn offer of employment will be contingent upon being fully vaccinated and providing proof of your COVID-19 vaccine upon commencing employment.
