Overview of the role: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist in month-end and year end close processes
• Monitoring/tracking outstanding account balances
• Managing vendor relationships and resolve billing questions
• Generating past due aging reports to customers
• Submitting regular reports on status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
• General ledger activities including preparing AP and AR related journal entries

Preferred Qualifications: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus!
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
