For more information, visit www.lumentum.com.Lumentum is seeking a bright, motivated individual to contribute to the development of a variety of highly-innovative and market-leading high power single-mode and multi-mode semiconductor lasers for telecom, industrial and consumer applications.Qualifications:Expertise in drafting mechanical drawings is required.Expertise in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Software (Solidworks preferred) is required.Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is required.Experience in creating bill of materials and assembly drawing is required.Experience in ECO and documentation is desirable.Experiences in Ansys APDL, Ansys Workbench, and other mechanical simulation software tools desirable.Education should hold BS degree or above in mechanical engineering.US citizenship or permanent residence preferred as it allows greater program flexibility.Key Responsibilities:Work with R&D Engineers to develop new products from conception to production release.Create detailed piece part and assembly drawings, specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.Provide details on component descriptions and purchase accordingly.Submit and track purchase requisitions for R&D projects.Preform incoming inspection on received parts.Assemble and test prototype component, tooling and equipment.Perform thermal and stress simulation of chip level diode package.Document and ECO release of engineering reports, engineering drawings, bill of materials and equipment design specifications.About Us
