Senior Litigation Counsel - San Francisco
Chan + Punzalan is a San Francisco law firm that represents businesses primarily in the areas of litigation and business transactions. We are seeking an attorney who will serve as Senior Litigation Counsel. Ideally, this attorney will have 5 to 10 years of extensive experience handling cases in civil litigation in federal and state court. The Senior Counsel’s responsibilities will include:Working with a team of attorneys and legal staff (litigation) on case strategy, caseload management, hearing and trial preparation, client communication and legal research/writing.Appearing at court hearings, depositions, and mediations.Communicating with clients and opposing counsel.Drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.Managing the workflow of the firm’s attorneys.The position is primarily remote, but the Senior Counsel will be required to attend in-person meetings in the firm’s San Francisco office periodically and also attend in-person court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
