Duties:
Manage various aspects of litigation, including written discovery and depositions.
Draft and review pleadings, substantive motions, and other legal documents.
Attend and participate in mediations, court appearances, and trial proceedings.
Assist in trial preparation and support during trial.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement case strategies.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in litigation.
Demonstrated experience with written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, attending mediations and court appearances, and trial assistance.
Strong academic record with a focus on litigation.
Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Education and Certifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the State Bar in California and in good standing.
Skills:
Advanced analytical and legal research capabilities.
Proficient in drafting and preparing legal documents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to case management.
