Job Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical leadership to the agile project team tasked with migrating MOVEit jobs to Snowflake.
Implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for different complexity Jobs from MOVEit to Snowflake. Extract, transform, and load logic to automate data collection and manage data processes/pipelines including data quality and monitoring
Design and build the migration factory with codified scripts and common plugins for accelerating/automating migration of jobs.
Performs problem analysis for migration of complex configurations from MOVEit to Snowflake.
Performs complex installation, configuration, customization and tuning. Provides input on answers to technical questions and problems while adhering to standards and procedures.
Assists in strategic planning and architecture and design. Makes recommendations on functional and business requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:
Required:
5+ years of Data Architecture/Data Warehousing experience
Expert knowledge of Snowflake with more than three (3) years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
Exposure to Data warehousing and various ingestion patterns from multiple sources.
Good hands-on experience in Snowflake migration projects with good understanding of Snowflake architecture and building pipelines for ingestion
Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using snowpipe, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts
Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features
Experience in Data Migration to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, PGP/GPG, S/MIME, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP/SCP/OFTP, POP3/SMTP, Web Services/SOAP/REST, WebDAV, etc.)
Experience or strong knowledge of industry data standards (ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, RosettaNet, SWIFT, TRADCOMS, etc.)
Experience with .Net/Java based frameworks and solutions.
Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like Oracle RAC, DB2, and MS SQL Server Enterprise
Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and security standards.
Experience working in financial services industry preferred.
Education:
Bachelor ‘s Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related field.
