Our team works together towards common goals, and we value each member's contributions to our mission of continuous improvement and innovation.About the role:As part of our engineering team, you’ll be working with experienced developers to implement new features and improve existing ones in a live game played by thousands of people every day on Android, iOS, and WebGL systems. The game relies heavily on backend services running on PHP, so a great collaboration with our backend engineers will also be part of your daily work. We are a scrum team running the typical ceremonies (reviews, retros, planning, pointing sessions, and the like) with in-house producers.The Quest:Design, implement and maintain features in a mobile and WebGL game using Unity and C#.Keep close communication with leaders and stakeholders to do estimations, plan deliveries and help the team improve an already wonderful, solid game.The Skills:4+ Years of Unity ExperienceExperience as primary developer on complex or mission-critical featuresExperience with development tools, debugging, and version control softwareProficient with client engineering, and either familiar with backend or excited about dipping their toes in backend (SQL, PHP, Couchbase)Strong C# KnowledgeSolid understanding of MVCExperience with software design patternsExperience writing Technical Design Documents (TDDs)Experience estimating tasks and time tracking, using scrumExperience defining/meeting roadmaps and milestone goalsExperience bringing games from ideation to implementation (close collaboration with Game designers, product owners, and other stakeholders)Experience consuming services (REST API calls, websockets, http requests)Experience working on projects with an existing codebaseExperience working on a live mobile productExperience across multiple facets of Unity3D development (Rendering, Performance Optimizations, Asset Systems)Experience using asset bundles and scriptable objects in UnityNice to have:Experience with Unity’s AnimatorAnalytics driven developmentExperience working on casino gamesExperience working on Android/iOS/WebGL platformsThe Reward:A fun and dynamic industry where you can make a difference.Professional and friendly work environment.
