Position: Endo Tech
Shift: Full time- Days
Job Description:
Under the general direction of the Registered Nurse, the Endo Tech assists the Endoscopy team with procedures, including assisting with reprocessing of endoscopes, performance of procedures, and assisting in the preparation of patients for Endoscopy. Reports to the Clinical Coordinator - Endoscopy. Job duties include set up and clean-up of procedural areas, as well as preparing necessary supplies and equipment based upon requirements for the endoscopic procedure following aseptic technique. Will also function in a first assist role to the physician during endoscopic procedures and specimen collection and provide proper care and reprocessing for flexible endoscopes and procedure equipment.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
* High School Diploma* One (1) to Two (2) Years Patient Care Experience as a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Surgical Assistant or other equivalent position.* BLS or will receive within six (6) months of hire date.
