Position: Help Desk Support
Nature of Role:
MIKEL is currently seeking a candidate for a Help Desk Support role. This position will provide technical support to a team, supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNWPT) Code 25 laboratory. Candidates should be highly organized and possess excellent written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities:
Creation of accounts within multiple applicationsProvide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to web based applicationsUtilize knowledge base and in house developer support to determine best solution based on the issue and details provided by the customerAsk questions to determine the nature of the problemFollow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolvedProvide program support to government customer, including general administrative, clerical, writing, and ad hoc programmatic activitiesAssist in documentation and distribution of secure lab policies and procedureComplete purchasing through DoD ITPR processTracking of COTS software licenses and renewalsMeet daily with government customers to manage tasking requirements and evolving prioritiesRequirements:
3-5 years of experience in a relevant fieldHighly organized with ability to self-prioritize assignments with minimal supervisionStrong written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of Navy policies and procedures related to secure labs a plus
