Reports to: Director of Technology

Purpose of Position: To provide the EUPISD and consortium members with remote and on-site software/hardware technical support for their computer systems.

Period of Employment: 230 days

Minimum Qualifications:

A two-year degree in a computer-related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education preferred.Experience troubleshooting and supporting hardware running Windows OS, ChromeOS, and Apple iOS on a large wide area networkExperience supporting software installations on an enterprise scale managed with Active Directory, GSuite for Education and Microsoft Office 365Relevant IT support coursework and certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Technology Associate, ITIL Service Desk Management, Google IT Support preferredKnowledge of copyright and privacy laws applicable to K-12 EducationAbility to handle confidential information in a discreet - professional mannerRequires excellent customer communications and relations; strong documentation skills; team-oriented personality; natural multi-tasking and time-management abilities; critical thinking and ability to prioritizeMust have regular and reliable attendancePossess a valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation?Ability to independently lift and transport computer-related equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete relevant IT support courses and certifications within 12 months of employment as assignedWork with other IT support staff, systems managers, and on-site technicians to resolve issues in districts both on-site and while working remotely in the central office, and to maintain district networks and servicesInstall, maintain, repair, upgrade and update computers, workstations, and other IT equipment hardware and software as directed using best practices, standards, automation, and documentation?Identify problems with and help repair VoIP phones, printers, copiers, scanners, projectors, interactive boards, document cameras, and other classroom technology
