The NASA Capture Sr Manager/Director position at Client will serve as a Capture lead within Client's business development organization for the Science & Space (S&S) business unit focused specifically on NASA Mission contracts.
This position will report to the Senior Director of Capture Management for Science & Space. The Capture Manager will be responsible for winning new business in NASA by engaging with customers and following the Client Capture Processes. The Capture Leader will lead large, prime, full and open opportunities and lead top pursuits across the Science & Space business unit. Opportunity sizes are from $200M to multi-billion.
Responsibilities:Capture ownership of assigned opportunities in support of the Science & Space Business UnitResponsible for the management and execution of the full Client life-cycle process across pursuits and proposalsRoutinely be assigned 2-3 large ($200M ) solicitation pursuits at various stages of the capture lifecycle primarily in the NASA and commercial space marketsConceptualize a winning strategy, develop a capture plan that implements the strategy and translates into win themes, adjusts the strategy as the procurement unfolds, and drive the capture activities and team (internal and external) to achieve the strategy through final proposal submissionPlan, lead, execute capture activities to include:Participate in developing a healthy pipeline of new opportunitiesQualify and assess the

of new opportunitiesDevelop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, challenges, issues, and needs during the capture phase and lead solutioning/planning sessions with the capture teamCoordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choicesLead milestone/gate reviews, black hat sessions, solution sessions, blue teams, and support proposal reviewsSupervise and/or mentor other capture managers, as appropriateLead competitive assessments, teaming, and pricing strategyLead the development and submission of white papers, RFI responses, and other proposal artifacts as assignedApply Client capture management best practices to each pursuit, including creating and disseminating capture artifacts call reports, B&P budgets, win plans, solution documentation, key strengths statementsBrief capture status to senior management at specified milestones in the capture process, when material changes occur and as requestedCreating winning solutionsWinning large new business programs
Basic Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplaceWorking knowledge and experience with NASA, space and engineering support acquisition organizationsAn ability to drive profitable financial outcomes on each capture with demonstrated understanding of corporate indirect rates and LOE/BOE developmentProven success in the following discipline(s): Business development, capture management, program management, science and engineering programs, civil space programs, acquisition processes, opportunity identification and qualificationDemonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitionsBachelor's degreePreferred Qualifications:Proven Success Leading NASA Captures with wins over $200M for Single Award Contracts
