SUMMARYThe Quality Control Assistant Manager will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of products. The incumbent performs quality checks on incoming sub-parts, in-process products, and final products to meet established quality standards and regulations. The Quality Control Assistant Manager prepares and implements quality assurance policies and procedures and performs inspections and quality tests. This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control processes and procedures. This may include developing and updating control plans, work instructions, and unique characteristics management plans based on updated FMEA.Analyze, evaluate, and present information concerning production capabilities, quality issue trends, customer complaints, and 4M changes.Create a training plan for quality inspectors on quality-related issues, such as corrective and preventive actions, root cause analysis, and statistical process control.Identify and address quality-related issues.Investigate and analyze quality control problems, develop and implement corrective and preventive actions, and work with other departments to resolve quality-related issues.Communicate quality-related issues and initiatives to other departments, management, and customers.Work with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are metSupport all Quality Engineering initiatives to enhance the overall quality of products and processesCooperate with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goalsParticipate in process improvement teams, develop and implement improvement plans, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiativesCoordinate and perform process audits for supplier qualifications or process changesComply with and promote safety in the workplaceSupervisory Responsibilities: NoBASIC QUALIFICATIONS(The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in a related fieldMinimum of 5 years experience in a related area with a strong preference in quality, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing areaRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Comprehensive knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its auditing/assessment internal and external dealing with suppliers and customersKnowledgeable in training techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsPreferred Education & Experience:Working knowledge of Six Sigma Black/Green BeltYears of quality experience in the automotive industryBilingual (English/Korean) is preferred but not requiredCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None RequiredWorking Conditions: Office setting, repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings.
