Workday Data Conversion Consultant

Responsibilities:

• The client is seeking a Workday Data Conversion Lead Consultant with good experience in successful end-to-end medium to large implementations of Workday Data Conversions

• Manage the successful and on-schedule completion of Workday conversion/ reporting activities and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle

• Focus on strategy, scope, risk, escalations, staffing and budget

• Ensure adherence to Cloud Deployment Solutions (CDS) conversion and reporting methodology and best practices

• Train and mentor less experienced team members

• Engage on multiple concurrent projects

Required Skills:

• Facilitate client discussions on data requirements, conversion methodology and data validation

• Knowledge of conversion methodology and best practices

• Supervise the team through execution of conversion and reporting deliverables

Analyze risk and seek preventative measures

• Perform research on conversion and reporting issues, identify the root cause, and implement corrective measures

• Demonstrate the ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

Answer all inquiries on a timely basis

• Understand priorities and request help and support when needed

• Follow through on tasks and commitments; demonstrate strong work ethic and set an example for others

• Exchange information with appropriate people to complete work and keep information confidential as needed

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients

• Can effectively manage the activities and deliverables of a team

• Passion for data accuracy and completeness

• Resourceful and has great attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Accepts and adapts to change

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, or relevant field of study

• 5+ years of experience in HRIS field

• Knowledge and experience with translating business requirements into system requirements

• Knowledge and experience with databases, entity relationships, SQL and Programming

Experience in data conversions for Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications preferred

• Demonstrated project management experience

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
