This role provides day-to-day customer service applying responsive expertise to enhance and support the work of the firms colleagues in serving our clients. The Technology Support Specialist ensures a high-functioning seamless experience across CCMs mobile, desktop, network, web, voice, and home office platforms.Essential Functions* Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of technology infrastructure for the firm, including all hardware and software resources.* LAN and WAN Network Administration for multiple office locations.* Supports and maintains CCM IT strategic planning and compliance systems (Disaster Recovery IT functions, Asset Management and compliance).* Manages technology partner relationships, including IT, user support, network, telecommunications, hardware, software, consultants and vendors.* Provides CCM with vigilant oversight, investigation, and reporting on industry best practices.* Provides Tier 1 technical support for all hardware, software, and mobile devices, including and not limited to:+ New colleague configurations, onboarding, and firmwide workstation moves+ Computer replacement configurations and installs+ Assisting with remote-office CCM users technology needs related to home offices+ Asset management, cataloging, and organization (mobile device inventory, software licenses, etc.)+ Phone and online meeting technology management+ Hardware and software testing and training+ Responsible for keeping inventories accurate for disaster recovery and manages obsolete technology disposal and recycling.+ Manages password database and security communications.+ Manages technology needs and provides support for offsite events, presentations, and meetings.Education/Experience* A bachelors degree or equivalent in a directly related professional experience.* Preferred minimum of one year of experience providing direct desktop and network tech support and administration, or equivalent training or classwork.* Possesses a strong customer-service orientation as well as effective written and verbal communication skills.* Proven ability to effectively communicate technical needs, required activities, and desired outcomes to all functional areas of the firm.* Demonstrated technology support skills across multiple platforms.* Basic PC hardware troubleshooting experience.* Software support including Windows desktop, Windows servers and Microsoft Office.* Desire to work in a highly professional work environment.Location Bloomington, Minnesota Minimum Experience Entry-level
