Job Description:
Alderson Loop is looking for a Data Architect to join the Distribution of Global Technology Department at a Fortune 500 investment firm. The Data architect will be able to design, code and provide data architecture solutions for the team, including but not limited to, data modeling, database design, and data integration-using cutting-edge technologies, including open-source tools on public Cloud platforms.
We are not looking for an Enterprise Architect or an Application Architect
Must be able to come on-site 2 days a week to Owings Mills, MD.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in a technology area of study; preferably in Computer Science, MIS or Analytics Programming and or Architecture certifications preferred5+ years of data architecture experience within an enterprise environment5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols)2+ years of Snowflake experience5+ years of Amazon Web Services experienceExperience with AWS services - Postgres, Dynamo, glue, redshift, etcMust have a strong background in data pipelining2+ years with SnapLogicFinancial domain background is a nice to have
