SR SYS PROG ANALYST- REV CYCLE

Coordinates and works with the department, vendors, and assistance from other outside resources for the implementation, development, and maintenance of the assigned Revenue Cycle applications for TUHS. Manages projects from request through design, coding, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and follow-up. Uses standard system life cycle methodology in implementing projects, coordinating/scheduling staff, communicating with users and interpreting their requirements into specifications, and working with other departmental staff, including technical and operations personnel. Ensures the establishment and maintenance of user departmental procedures relating to Computer Systems; monitors appropriate/proper use of the system(s) in accordance with documented procedures. Ensures user departments have developed effective backup/recovery plans for system downtime and monitors overall system utilization and security.
Education
Bachelor's Degree: in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
4 Years experience with computer system application development and implementation (Required)
4 Years experience working in a hospital environment (Required)
4 Years experience with health system administrative and clinical applications including SMS Invision, Patient Management, Enterprise Access Directory, Patient Billing and Accounting, and Windows NT. (Preferred)
4 Years experience with large, complex implementations and related projects (Preferred)
