SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR II

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the TUHS infrastructure environment. Participates in the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Participates in the implementation of operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Supports hosted client/end user environments such as Citrix. Monitors performance of all systems to ensure availability of data, applications, and computing resources. Provides assistance to project teams with technical issues. Provides Tier 3 technical support and 24x7 on-call services for supported environments. Participates in the development and maintenance of appropriate documentation including maintenance, audit, and change management records.

Education

Bachelors Degree : in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Required)

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience

3 Years experience with the design and development of complex systems (Required)

3 Years experience with Windows, Linux, or UNIX server operating systems. (Required)

License/Certifications

MCITP - Microsoft Cert IT Professional (Preferred)

MCSE - Microsoft Cert Solutions Exp (Preferred)
