is a rapidly growing private investment firm. This position sits in their shared services organization offering corporate services to their 180+ portfolio of companies.bout the Role:
s the MDM specialist you will be working with the Head of BI/DW and cross- functional teams across the business to assist in the design and development of mastered enterprise data domain(s) to ensure high quality data for the organization;assist in design and development of enterprise data quality transformation;and lead the design and development of solution development life cycle (SDLC) activities; such as standards and guidelines, SLAs, technical peer review, deployment, scheduling and auditing.
Responsibilities:Be responsible for answering key business and technical use cases related to the MDM program with dataMonitor and maintain all the customer data processes such as match/merge, data profiling, standardization and data enrichmentbility to build Hierarchy, Relationships and build full 360 view of the CustomerBuilding MDM for other domains such as COA, Institution/Organization and VendorsLead processes to implement and validate programs to improve master data quality and its utilizationServe as the main point of contact with business and other technical teams to ensure their master data expectations and requirements are understoodCollaborate with teams to discuss business requirements for new master data related initiativesPartner with other members of the MDM team to document business requirements, data KPIs, test cases, and dashboardsMeet with internal teams to discuss data needs; ensure the master data story is understood by all functions within the organizationPartner with Data Scientists to develop deep insights and communicate those to technical and non-technical audiencesMaintain and improve best practices around data mining and visualizationRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or similar field with 6+ years of overall experience; Master's in similar field is a big plus4+ years of experience in the fields of master data management, data quality analysis and remediation, data analysis, or data stewardship4+ years of Informatica MDM experience, especially in the role of a systems or data analystExperience with data cleansing and enrichment capabilities using tools (Ex. Address Doctor) and external dataExposure to integration patterns and MDM implementation StylesExperience with data visualization software (Tableau, Pentaho)
