Job DescriptionOur client is hiring a full-time Front-End Architect who is passionate about developing cutting-edge web applications that perform across all platforms. You should have experience creating highly complex solutions at the enterprise level, working in a highly collaborative environment with cross-functional teams on projects ranging from a few weeks to a few months in length.
You'll need to clearly and concisely communicate highly technical challenges and solutions to clients and non-technical team members and build solid back-end architectures that integrate easily with other systems and technologies Understand design patterns and write reusable, modular code, and love working closely with other disciplines (Front-end, UX, Design, QA).
Digital Agency or Fortune 500/100 experience preferred
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years building modern web applications/sites in a professional environmentMinimum of 5 years building in PHP, MVC architecture, and LAMP stackMinimum of 5 years with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAXDemonstrated expertise building on PHP Content Management Systems such as Drupal, Expression Engine, and WordPressWillingness to travel to client site (Non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred Qualifications:
Experience with social platform APIs such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest Comfortable with version control, preferably GitComfortable with techniques and methodologies around responsive design and development Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and guidanceExperience administering a LAMP-based serverExperience working in an agile environmentBackground in user experience and/or design Involvement in open source projectsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
