Job Responsibilities:

Able to articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative, agile pattern daily.

Develops code in adherence to best practices which acquires data from a verity of both structured and unstructured data sources and loads this data to data models which are implemented in a variety of technologies.

Participates in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via an analytics and reporting.

Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.

Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.

Focuses on providing thought leadership within Information Management but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.

Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Required to design and develop data extract program on a Hortonworks Hive Hadoop platform

Have a passion to learn, take ownership and accountability

Deep desire for automation using devops practices and toolsets

Skills and Experience Required:

5+ years of working experience in Ab Initio and Teradata

3+ years of working in Hadoop, Hive, PySpark

3+ years being part of Agile teams – Scrum or Kanban

3+ years of solution architecting in AWS – EC2, AWS-S3, AWS-RDS, AWS-Athena

Excellent experience working with BASH/KSH, CA7 Scheduling, Jenkins, Talend, Windows Server Admin, Linux, Python

Certification in Teradata and Ab Initio is preferred.
