NXT is looking for a talented data scientist for an exciting opportunity on the DSF team at Publicis Media in New York City. You would be involved with helping design and scale a new workflow for Shelf Intelligent Media using retail data and analytics. Candidates will be considered based on their ability to design large distributed technical solutions, contribute to research endeavors resulting in real world projects and data pipelines that support data products.This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.Your Impact:Design and contribute to data science pipeline using python and SnowflakeWrite Python/Pyspark applications for data processing and modelingImplement statistical and financial modeling techniquesResearch and develop custom solutions related to digital shelf dataManage and administer analytics workflow and reportingInvestigate, procure, and incorporate new technologies to enhance capabilitiesRun client team interviews/de-briefs, collect disparate information to inform proposals and SOWsCollaborate cross-functionally: effectively manage cross-functional initiatives and relationships across agencies, partners, delivery teams, regions, and clientsQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, or related field2-3 years’ data engineering or data science experience (preferably in Python, and/or PySpark/Scala)Must have a strong programming backgroundMust be able to demonstrate understanding of Web Services and Cloud ComputingKnowledge of Big Data Systems (BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Athena / S3)Proficient in designing efficient and robust analytics/reporting workflowsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate with others to clarify requirementsMust enjoy being challenged and solve complex problems on a daily basisExperience in financial or econometric modeling (extra credit)REQ # 23-10289Additional Information
