AI-powered biology automation.Methid is searching for scientists and engineers to be part of the founding team and work on automating life-science methodology.Methid is changing the way biology and medical research are done, right at the edge of bits and atoms. Life-science research and diagnostics are more tedious, laborious, and error-prone than they need to be. This makes research and healthcare slower, more expensive, and less reliable, even for what should be simple tests and therapies! We make life-science research and diagnostic medicine better, faster, and cheaper.As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our founding team developing our edge-and-cloud biology automation stack. You'll design modern high-availability containerized services that run our biology automation pipeline using modern technologies like Vue.JS, docker, PostgreSQL, and hyperscaler cloud infrastructure. The architecture you develop will be essential to the success of the product and you'll help shape its direction.The Opportunity

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer writing production-quality code in PythonPassion for startup environments and early stage product developmentExperience designing and deploying containerized services with dockerExperience deploying services on GCP or other cloud infrastructureExperience with DevOps and Continuous Integration techniquesExperience with Javascript client developmentExperience with relational databasesHas lead software projects from conception to construction to commercial deploymentTechnical leadership aptitude to mentor more junior engineersStrong written and verbal communicationExperience working in a collaborative and fast-paced Agile team environmentDesire to grow and learn while innovating on a system that grows and learnsBonus
