Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify and develop long term solutions for a highly complex, modern platformAct as subject matter expert for ReliaQuest’s DevOps Engineering team, including advising on new tools, operational standards, and best practicesImprove automated alerting, monitoring, and logging to immediately identify an issue and ultimately where the issue lies on the platformPartner effectively with other teams such as DevOps, Development, Infrastructure and Functional Engineering to solve complex problemsProvide training and support to other team members as well as cultivate a culture of constant collaborationUnderstand how to build secure, performant, reliable and durable systemsDo you have what it takes?
A passion to deep dive into problems with a mindset to problem solve and build in long term reliabilityEnthusiasm for learning new tools, automation, and working through complex problems with a Sustaining mindsetEnterprise experience with APM’s such as Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace and/or AppDynamicsExpertise with cloud-based services in AzureHands on experience with Kubernetes and TerraformHands on experience with log analytic tools, Splunk or ELK preferredExperience with messaging services such as Kafka, Rabbit, AmazonMQ or ActiveMQFamiliarity using distributed, multitiered containerized web platformsWhat makes you uncommon?
Coding experience with at least one language, Bash, Python, Go, C#, Ruby or JavaScriptExperience with CI/CD pipeline management using technologies like Jenkins, AWS Developer Tools (CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, etc.), GitLab, Puppet, Harness, JFrog, TeamCityPrevious work on a development team building security software
