Our client is a well-established family owned business seeking a highly motivated Controller to add to their team!
Role:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of a company. Their main role is to ensure that the company's financial processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulations.
Responsibilities include: -Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for management and stakeholders. This includes profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgeting reports. -Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, and monitor performance against these plans. -Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing cash utilization. -Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and procurement. Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner, and that financial policies and procedures are followed. Qualifications: -Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. -CPA or MBA strongly preferred. -8+ Years in Accounting or Finance industry preferred. -Highly proficient in Excel and SAGE Software required.
