About The Team
Workday is unique in that it builds enterprise software in the cloud on a single codeline through a continuous development model allowing for rapid delivery of our software to our customers. In this team, you’ll be working with key architects, product managers, and other stakeholders delivering a new generation of on-demand enterprise solutions designed to meet the needs of today's global business.

About The Role
Software Engineer (Applications): Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Basic Qualifications:
Transitioning US military Veteran or eligible member of the National Guard or Reserves.Cannot have been out of the military for longer than three years (exception is for those currently enrolled in a full-time educational program)Display a proven foundation in software engineering4 year degree in a computer related field
Other Qualifications:
Must be a collaborative team player with good communication skills.Experience with UML, Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service) technologiesOO design and Java development experienceExperience with XML and Integration technologies is a plus.Metadata-driven definitional development experience is a plus.Experience designing/developing business applicationsKnowledge of Test Driven Development practices
Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $98,000 - $147,000
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $93,100 - $168,000
