Job Description We're looking for an AI/ML Scientist who loves to solve complex problems and has experience with Natural Language processing and Machine learning. Summary At Datasite we are transforming the way companies do Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). We have the industry leading M&A platform: Datasite One that is built on modern micro-services based architecture. We are looking for talented engineer to join our R&D team to build NLP and ML based solutions to deliver intelligent features in our products. As an AI/ML Scientist, you will apply your knowledge of NLP and ML to build product features that use state of the art methods in entity extraction, clustering and classification. You will work with a talented team of engineers and product managers to perform rapid experiments to validate hypothesis for new and unique features.Preferred location is MN but open to US-remote. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Exploratory Data analysis and feature engineering on unstructured text data and structured, semi-structured metadataDesign and develop pipelines to extract features from text data to build AI training and validation datasetsDesign and develop prompts, orchestration chains and agents using Large Language Models (LLMS)Apply AIML and NLP methods to large text data sets to create solutions that provide differentiating product featuresPrototype new models, evaluate with small scale experiments in rapid iterationsWork with cross functional team of Data Scientists, Engineers and Product Managers to design and develop AI enabled products and featureQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing3+ years of industry experience in building machine learning models using PythonExposure to text mining, Natural Language Processing and UnderstandingExposure to LLMsWorking knowledge of machine learning and deep learning methods and toolsExposure to Natural language processing and LLMsHands on coding experience with PythonExperience with NLP, ML libraries like langchain, sklearn, tensorflow, keras, spacy, pandasExperience building ML pipelines from unstructured text dataAbility to quickly learn, evaluate and apply emerging technologyFundamental understanding of data structures, algorithms and statistical methods used by ML modelsAbility to interact with internal/external clients/customers in a professional manner.Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and product groups.Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects is necessary, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new domain familiarity.As a global organization, Datasite knows that diverse perspectives are essential to our success.
