Position Summary:

BW Rigid Systems is currently seeking a VP, Finance for our growing global organization. The Vice President of Finance joins our leadership team during an exciting period as we bring together two existing Barry Wehmiller Divisions – Pneumatic Scale Angelus and Synerlink. Beyond serving in the traditional capacity as the trusted steward for accurate and complete financial position of the business, the VP of Finance will contribute as a strategic thinker and leader, able to meaningfully participate in senior leadership efforts to create the new division and chart and sustain a viable business model for the newly created organization.Job Responsibilities:In addition to reporting directly to Barry-Wehmiller’s CFO, you will function as a key business partner to the President and CEO, providing support on merger and acquisitions activity, as well as leading and providing oversight of all financial affairs for the division.Business and financial planning, treasury management and consolidated financial statement preparation and analysis.Lead and develop a professional staff with world-wide scope and responsibility and be a valuable member of a cross functional management team.This position is expected to provide the financial vision for the organization and to help achieve its long term strategic and financial goals.Candidate Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting strongly preferred; other business-related discipline considered if significant experience in finance and/or accounting.Masters in Accounting or MBA degree, CPA certification and previous negotiation experience strongly preferred.10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.Experience working in a global multi-plant and multi-currency manufacturing environment.Fundamentally sound working knowledge of US GAAP standards.Fluent in English and French is a plus.Ability to build a strong cohesive global Finance Team.Demonstrated experience with management of operational cash flow.Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions.Strong continuous improvement skills.Highly skilled with the use of Microsoft Office suite software products, business analytics software, and working knowledge of legacy ERP systems.Travel:Approximately 40-50% travel, both domestically and globally.About BW Rigid Systems:
