Job Description
The Swift Group is looking for a Data Engineer to assist in areas of data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL), data mapping, analytical support, operational support, database support, application development and associated maintenance of data lakes and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new processes to ETL dataAssist with identifying, classifying, and verifying incoming dataset typesEnhance existing processes used to ETL dataMaintain existing and new ETL code baselinesDevelop and enhance Ingestion and ETL process toolsDevelop and enhance utilities for the Ingestion and ETL processDevelop code and scripts using Java, JavaScript, Bash, Python and Scala
Required Skills
5+ years of data engineering experienceExperience extracting, transforming, and loading data from disparate structured data formats into enriched, query-friendly structured data in indexed filesExperience performing data quality analysisExperience with Linux operating systemsExperience programming languagesHS diplomaUS citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Demonstrated experience working with large-volume dataDemonstrated experience working with data sensitivity and handling restrictionsBA/BS Degree
