What you’ll do:
Manage and mentor a team of full-stack developers, in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environmentSet the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliverCollaborate with Product, Operation, Data Science and Engineering teams, and executive stakeholdersEvaluate the technical tradeoffs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentorHire, grow and retain high-performing team membersKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Background with building high availability and mission critical systemsExperience with leading an engineering teamAbility leading and executing large, complex technical initiativesMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience8+ years of experience working in software engineering2+ years of experience managing a teamExperience with distributed systems and web developmentPreferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the Content Moderation or Trust & Safety spacesTrack record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environmentsExperience with building and maintaining mission-critical and highly-available global systemsCompensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.Zone A (CA, WA) : The base salary range for this position is $230,000 - $335,000 annuallyZone B : The base salary range for this position is $219,000 - $318,000 annuallyZone C : The base salary range for this position is $196,000 - $285,000 annuallyThis position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUsDefault Together Policy at Snap
