Title: Service Desk TechnicianLocation: Cherry Hill, NJJob Type: 3-6 Months Contract to HireResponsibilities:The Service Desk Technician will be responsible for the monitoring, management, and maintenance of computer systems for multiple clients.Windows Server ManagementNetwork ManagementCustomer Supporto Administration of Windows servers in SMB environmentso Batch and PowerShell scriptingo Server deployments and migrationso Group Policy creation and maintenanceo Make recommendations for hardware and software upgradeso Configuration and deployment of SMB class routers, switches, and access pointso Configuration and troubleshooting of site-to-site VPN connectionso Monitoring and maintenance of network attached devices such as NAS devices, printers, and camera systemso Make recommendations for hardware and software upgradeso Provide remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, servers and other computer related deviceso Provide on-site support at client locationso Troubleshoot hardware and software problems in Windows and Mac environmentso Participate on an on-call scheduleo Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the MSP ManagerRequired Skills:Must exhibit a clear, friendly, professional phone manner.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to explain technical terminology to non-technical end users.Able to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail.Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Desktop and Server)VMWare and Hyper-V installation, configuration, and managementActive Directory, Group Policy, Mac OSX, SMB Routers (Sonicwall, Watchguard, FortiNet).Basic Batch and PowerShell scriptingMicrosoft Office 365 managementMust have transportationMust be able to physically lift and move computer equipment
