Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join the existing Network Team to support all aspects of the Sponsor's large, complex, and growing network infrastructure.

Duties, Tasks & ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with teammates to create, implement, and troubleshoot new engineering designsTranslating requirements from internal stakeholders into engineering designs based on a standardized network architecturePresenting proposed changes to the standardized architecture to internal review boardsCreating drawings and other configuration management documentation to track network changesTroubleshooting switch, router, and firewall connectivity issues between various customer sitesTraveling to various data centers in the WMA to support ongoing network operationsCompleting patching of all network devices (router, switch, firewall, etc.) in accordance with Sponsor's policiesPerforming quarterly reviews of all network device access control lists and rulesetsRequired Experience, Skills, & Technologies

Significant hands-on Cisco hardware configuration and maintenance experience, and hands-on experience in an enterprise-scale network environmentProficient understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, and subnettingDemonstrated proficiency with Cisco switches and Cisco ASA firewallsDemonstrated experience with Tier II/III level troubleshootingDemonstrated experience configuring various routing protocols.Demonstrated experience building IPSec and/or MACSec tunnelsStrong shell scripting experienceDesired Experience, Skills & Technologies

Hands on experience with Palo Alto firewallsHands on experience with Cisco Firepower and/or Cisco ISEHands on experience with VXLAN
