RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS Level Senior (L4) Role nalyst-Business Skill Business / Systems Analysis Technology SDLC, Documentation, Requirement GatheringIdentify and gather business and technical/functional requirements to establish the framework for each phase of the Software Development Lifecycle.Schedule and facilitate Requirement Elicitation sessions with Internal/External resources and IT teams to convey the Business need and to identify gaps, impacts and requirements for each impacted area.Analyze and interpret Functional and Non-Functional requirements and impacts using information provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.Create and manage Business Requirement collateral relevant to each SDLC stage.Modify requirements through Amendments or Variances due to change in scope during SDLC.Support testing cycles to ensure technical specifications meet the business requirements.Create collateral such as reference docs, user guides, etc. in support of the products and solutionsDocument functional requirements and determine complexity of work for applicable projectsWork with Solutions Consultants and Solutions Architects to create proposal documents and requirements templatesFormulate and define Business Requirements & Use CasesDocument and execute acceptance criteriaProvide analysis to resolve production issues, support and/or perform User Acceptance Test (UAT)Participate in or conduct product demos and requirements gathering exerciseParticipate in or conduct Agile development activities such as stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration; serve as Scrum MasterCreate and manage the progress of Product backlog ItemsGather and document requirements and high-level estimates for defect fixes and enhancementsWork with cross-functional client stakeholders to complete application worksheets and customizations scoping.Work closely with Technical, QA and Business Teams in explaining the requirements and provide functional guidance/answersResearch, gather, articulate, refine and document business/technical requirementsWork with TSQL, SOL and Office Tools to create business requested data / reportsActs as a liaison between Developers, Operations, and Product ManagementAnalyze client reported issues and help Support Team in designing/implementing and testing fixes Conduct preliminary functional testing Prepare Help/Support Documentation for new features/fixesUse JIRA to manage Sprints - create Sprints, coordinate with the Scrum Team to assign/update tasks Participate & Contribute to functional framework discussionsSkills and Experience Needed
Required:
10+ years of Business or Systems analysis experience including some involving large, complex software solutions5+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry preferredStrong technical knowledge and experience working in Software Development teamsExperience in large data migration and transformation projectsProficiency in data profiling techniques, methodologies, and tools to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries using commands such as SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, and various data aggregation functions to extract and manipulate data effectively.Proficient in various tools such as JIRA, Tableau, Confluence, Clarity and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)solid understanding of the Agile methodologies and SDLCStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with globally dispersed teamsStrong Communication, Presentation, and Writing SkillsPrevious Business Analyst experience in a financial software/service development companyEducation:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science Degree
