Responsibilities:
Work in an agile and fast-paced environment interfacing with management, business and senior technology membersDesign and develop applications utilizing complex Java/JEE technologies and middleware systemsBuild and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codeManage end-to-end development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing and maintenanceIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problemsProvide status updates, proper escalations & reporting to management & businessManage Source Code repository and support production releasesIdentify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestonesUnderstand technical and Business processes of various front office, trading and settlement applicationsMinimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering with more than 7 years of experience performing Java/JEE software engineering within a financial services environment.Technical skills:
JAVA, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, PythonData modelingApache Spark & Apache TomcatSybase/OracleGXT/GWT or other UI frameworksREST/SOAP Web ServicesUnix/Linux, Perl, Shell Scripting fundamentalsJMS, MQ, Tibco, Solace, KafkaMaven, SVN, GITEclipse or IntelliJJenkins, Ansible, KubernetesCloud
