Responsibilities:§ Work in an agile and fast-paced environment interfacing with management, business and senior technology members§ Design and develop applications utilizing complex Java/JEE technologies and middleware systems§ Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code§ Manage end-to-end development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing and maintenance§ Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems§ Provide status updates, proper escalations & reporting to management & business
Manage Source Code repository and support production releases§ Identify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestones
Understand technical and Business processes of various front office, trading and settlement applications
Minimum Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering with more than 7 years of experience performing Java/JEE software engineering within a financial services environment.• Technical skills:
JAVA, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, PythonData modelingApache Spark & Apache TomcatSybase/OracleGXT/GWT or other UI frameworksREST/SOAP Web ServicesUnix/Linux, Perl, Shell Scripting fundamentalsJMS, MQ, Tibco, Solace, KafkaMaven, SVN, GITEclipse or IntelliJJenkins, Ansible, KubernetesCloud
Preferred Qualifications:• Master's degree in Computer Science with 5 years of hands on design & development experience
Knowledge on prime services domainExperience working in financial industryTableau / Power BI
