JOB DESCRIPTION:

IT ManagerCLASSIFICATION:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Two-year Associate’s Degree in IT Computer Support or related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. At least 5 years’ experience in IT. Knowledge of computer hardware, software (Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Exchange, Veeam, Azure, M365) and network infrastructure (Cisco and SonicWall). Strong communication, organizational and computer skills. Must be authorized for coverage under agency insurance if operating agency vehicle, have good driving record, valid Wisconsin driver's license, and/or required level of personal auto insurance.

GENERAL DUTIES:

Responsible for the agency’s IT needs. Responsible to be an active and productive member of the leadership team.

*Denotes essential job function.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

*Install and maintain all IT and telecommunication systems hardware, software, operating systems, and attached devices.

*Strengthen and expand the agency’s collaborations with business, service organizations, community professionals, and other individuals/groups.

*Review and maintain knowledge of legislative and regulatory issues affecting the IT system programs to ensure compliance.

*Maintain an inventory of all PCs, including serial number, hardware, and software.

*Provide user support for PC operations, data and document backup, endpoint protection, and Microsoft Office applications, as needed.

*Provide training for users on all agency IT systems including hardware, software, operating systems, and attached devices.

Maintain the IT budget.

*Document and maintain network infrastructure

*Maintain Active Directory structure and group policies.

*Arrange for repair or disposal of non-working equipment and e-cycling.

*Work with third party consultants and SaaS, IaaS, providers to maintain agency IT and related systems.

*Provide all IT and communications systems technical support for all locations as needed.

*Collaborate with executive management to develop long range, strategic goals for IT and overall agency.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the COO.
