Position: AS/400 ConsultantLocation: Chicago, IL, or RemoteDuration: 12 MonthsRate: DOE

Technology:
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as an AS400 technical team lead with below:Advanced Level hands-on exposure in IBM-i platformAdvanced Level hands-on exposure in Report Program Generator (RPG-LE,RPG-SQL, RPG-FREE)Proficient in DB2,Proficient in IBM-I SQL to write queries, extract data, create and debug complex stored procedures/issues and be able to respond to ad-hocdata requests & queriesProficient in data transfer (to and from) between Excel and IBM-iHave knowledge on - XML, JSON,Good to have exposure in tools like Service Now and JIRANice to have Web Services/SFTP/FTP experienceNice to have IBM-i X-Analysis, Presto, Legasuite, PHP experience.Background on JDA MMS software is a plusProcess/Operations:
Minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience with below:Experience in working with global delivery model (Onsite-Offshore).Experience in Retail Environment/Domain preferredOversaw and ensured communications with clients regularly regarding progress, challenges, timelines, and end results of client projectsLead Creation and updates of design and functional documentsLead and performed code review sessions with other developers and suggested improvements or alternate approaches when appropriateWorked closely with project managers and account managers to ensure that client expectations are met and that the team adheres toproject schedules and budgetsOpen to providing On-Call support PeopleStrong communication skills
