· Implement and maintain quality and environmental systems in compliance to applicable standards
· Interface with customers, suppliers, and Plant personnel on quality and environmental related issues
· Enforcing company policies, procedures, and requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
· Maintain gauge system, for calibrated equipment, to applicable quality system standards
· Manage and assist in the selection of Quality Technicians
· Monitor internal data such as scrap levels, production rates, warranty returns, etc. for analysis and improvement
· Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Work Instructions, PFEMAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, Placards, and all other controlled documentation as it relates to the QMS and EMS
· Responsible for submissions of PPAPs, IMDS, and other technical requirements
· Ensures that Customer and Internal Quality Problems are contained and resolved in the required timeframe and in the required customer format (e.g. 8D)
· Responsible for overseeing completion and approval of Corrective and Preventive Action Reports
· Responsible for researching and keeping abreast of new quality concepts, technologies and methods
· Coordinate and oversee internal audits and external audit programs; IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
· Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality
· Improve product quality by making recommendations for change to product/processes
· Work together with relevant teams and departments to ensure effective implementation of product/process improvements
· Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards
· Conduct special studies/analysis as required
· Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g. Tier II) by the required deadlines
· Conduct response preparedness drills for emergency situations and evaluates for effectiveness
Conduct annual Management Review Meeting with top-level, cross-functional team
