Who You Are:You are a self-driven, highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in systems engineering, networking and configuration management. You are able to write automation and software to manage cloud resources. You have experience with edge cloud or IOT infrastructure. You have worked in a startup or high-growth company and have shipped B2B products into production. You know how to work collaboratively and cross functionally to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders, and you have a track record of success. And, as an early member of a DevOps team, you enjoy building and iterating on process and infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability and efficiency.
What Excites You:
Working with and mutually learning from an extremely high caliber engineering team
Managing complex and diverse network infrastructure
Working through all levels of the networking stack from low level packet captures to VLAN management, cloud networking, etc.
Building scalable, configuration managed and secure cloud native infrastructure for production and testing
Operating with autonomy and navigating ambiguity in a fast paced environment
Working cross-functionally across the entire company to deliver a testing plan that achieves the company’s current and future goals
What Gets Our Attention:
At least 5 years of experience in a devops function with an emphasis on automation and cloud management.
Deep networking expertise
Solid understanding of Linux operating system internals, networking, and security
Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
Hardware and protocol debugging experience
Comfortable building and deploying containerized applications
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
What’s In It For You:
Annual Base Salary Range: $170,000 - $180,000. Offered salary will be based on the offered candidate’s demonstrated attributes and competencies related to the role. Note that this salary range is reflective of a salary range for Bay Area candidates
