Summary:
BeaKen is seeking a skilled Java software developer to join our team that supports a contract which provides mission-driven and data-centric solutions in support of geospatial-intelligence enterprise Open Data Store services.
Our team utilizes the latest AWS developments and practices to manage a large customer-facing data lake. Team members are involved in the dissemination of data as well as the transformation and storage of data.
Our developers are involved in designing and implementing new custom features that solve unique problems as well as updating and optimizing legacy features.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycleWrite well designed, testable, efficient codeEnsure designs follow specificationsRecommend changes to improve established application processesPrepare and produce releases of software componentsDevelop application code programsDevelop and execute test plans, support formal testing and resolution of defectsProvide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure defects and questionsHere's What You Will Need:
Active TS/SCI Clearance with PolyAt least 2 years of demonstrated experience in JavaExperience with CI-CDExperience working on LINUX SystemsPreferred Skills:
Dev Ops experienceKnowledge/experience with git, Docker and Container Orchestration, TerraformAWS Services, S3 EC2 SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, Cloud WatchAWS Serverless, Lambda, ECS, AWS CLIApache NiFi experiencePython & NodeJS experienceNGA imagery and Data Repositories
