Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a
Senior Network Engineer
to join their team supporting Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).
This is an onsite role in Fort Shafter, HI.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain commercial solutions for classified (CSfC) compliant solutions that meet NSA, DoD, and customer requirementsBe able to develop and modify system scriptsWrite standardized system documentation, including configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materialsProvide onsite training to technical and non-technical users on the daily use, management, and troubleshooting of the solution after installationSupport all cross-domain solution requirementsCollaborate with other operations departments to design approved infrastructureServe as the escalation contact during large outages for Tier 2 and 3 systemsAuthor network engineering design packages including detailed implementation project plans and proceduresConfigures network, software, and hardware components to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirementsPerforms network design and systems integrationDesigns, develops, implements, tests, and maintains complex secure communications networksConfiguring/managing PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutionsFamiliarity with Certificate Authority configuration (ISC CertAgent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat Certificate systems)Configuring firewalls, intrusion Prevention/detection systems, VPN gateways, wireless controllers from various vendors (e.g., Aruba, Cisco, Cisco ASA, SonicWALL, Juniper)Document configuration, test procedure, results, and training materialsPreparing test reports and configuration documentation according to customer standardsProviding customer on-site training on solution daily use, management, and troubleshootingProviding customer on-site solution installation and integrationProvide tier 2 and 3 support as part of a technical teamIdentify and recommend hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies, interfacing with customers and vendorsProvide technical expertise to sales engineering teams during complex network developmentsEnhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the companyApply DoD STIGs and IAVAsPerform special projects and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree may be used to substitute 2 years of experience)12+ years of experience in engineeringIAT-III DOD 8570 Certification: CASP+ CE (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner), CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional Security), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or Associate, GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender), GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)Professional Network certification (CCNP, etc)
