Wireless Network Engineer II :: Denver, CO Onsite REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Should have excellent knowledge in M2M, In-Home Router industry standards and design/ implementation (IPv4 / IPv6, QoS, 802.11). Experience with handset manufacturers, network equipment vendors, and/or chipset vendors a plus. Should have excellent knowledge with common mobile handset operating systems (Windows Mobile, Android and other Java-Linux platforms) and knowledge of UICC/SIM chipsets & modules relating to wireless devices Knowledge of RF or Network System Performance. Experience using protocol communications test equipment and tools (protocol analyzers, system simulators, wifi analyzers and packet sniffers). Understanding and/or experience working with the following is a plus: - GRE, UPnP, architecture - NAS, SIP, IMS, OSGI, and DHCP. Must possess excellent industry knowledge and theoretical understanding of IEEE 802.11 specifications (a/b/g/n/ac,ax SISO, MIMO, MCS index). Experience with testing and Q/A of Layer 1 thru 7 networks Experience developing automation scripts utilizing TCL, Python programming languages. Experience writing and developing detailed test cases and test plans Extensive hands-on networking experience (802.11 AP's, Cable Gateways, Routers, Switches, etc.) Experience with network test equipment, such as Ixia, Spirent, Fluke Networks, IBB, Spectrum Analyzers, Site Survey Planning tools, and Traffic Generators. Must possess expert skills and experience with desktop operating systems and applications (Windows, MAC, Unix/Linux). Strong work ethic with a desire to meet and exceed personal and business goals Expert level communication, documentation, teamwork skills Self-motivated to take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables Experienced technical writing skills sufficient to produce white papers, test cases, test plans, design documents, and technical diagrams Ability to work both in a team and independently on assigned projects Strong documentation, follow-up, communication skills Learns and adapts to new technologies and methodologies. Must be able to think outside-the-box and exercise innovation. Ability to work with little supervision to execute highly technical and complex tasks Organized with a strong attention to detail Possesses strong analytical skills Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience Professional level certification or equivalent work experience Related Work Experience 3 years of professional experience in an MSO/ISP Networking Engineering capacity WORKING CONDITIONS Office Environment Network Lab environment Exposure to continuous moderate noise Work performed near power lines and electricity Occasional travel as required Primary Location US-Colorado-Englewood
