Cloud Architect, Microsoft 365

to join their team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $150-215kThe Cloud Architect for Microsoft 365 position will be responsible for the design, planning, assessment and strategies around the firm's migrations and operation within the Microsoft cloud. This position requires expert level understanding and experience in the migration and configuration of Microsoft enterprise cloud solutions including related technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Teams, Entra ID and Entra Connect. The position also requires a deep understanding of the governance needs and security options around these services.Responsibilities:Serve as the go-to technical expert in the Microsoft 365 spaceDesign, configure and maintain the firms Microsoft 365 environmentTranslate requirements into architectural design and present to C level managementPlan and execute end-to-end implementations of Microsoft 365 workloadsProvide guidance to the firm's IT management of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 and related core technologiesCreate high and low level detailed documentation on existing and future cloud solutionsReview and identify Microsoft 365 platform governance needs and security configurations optionsProvide expertise and be a key resource with major service migrations into the Microsoft 365 servicesWork directly with Infosec teams to validate designs account for all aspects of information security best practices and firm requirementsRegularly analyze 365 and cloud environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvementAt an expert level, create, review and distribute technical documentation for cloud solutions and projects including, processes, procedures, troubleshooting, training and change managementMentor/Coach other IT teams membersProvide solution ownership and subject matter expertise through the firms SDLC processQualifications:A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, System Analysis, Engineering or a related study10+ years of progressive global enterprise level experience with IT solutions and engineering;Microsoft Certifications: Advanced Microsoft M365 certificationsOffice 365 subject matter expertise for Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Defender for Office 365, Teams and Teams voice services and other O365 workloadsMicrosoft Security components: Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Entra ID PremiumExperience in Microsoft cloud security controls, Data Loss Prevention, Purview, and understanding of Litigation Hold, Retention, and eDiscoveryExchange: Must have real-world, hands-on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions utilizing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 within large, complex environmentsActive Directory: Must have real-world experience helping to manage and maintain on-premises Active Directory, GPO's, and on-premises Active Directory migrations to M365Experience with Azure is a plusExperience with Microsoft Intune a plusExperience with email protection and security leveraging Proofpoint is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to lead internal IT groups and present on new technologiesThe ability to identify, scope, and present detailed technical solutions to C Suite personnelAbility to implement Microsoft cloud technologies and understand interdependencies in large on-premise enterprise environmentsAbility to proactively collaborate across internal, and third party vendor teamsAbility to provide strategic vision to large technical teams on complex projectsProvide leadership across cloud services to the firm and it's IT departmentProactively provide process improvement, security configuration and standardization across the firm's cloud solutionsIn-depth technical problem-solving capabilityEffectively articulate escalations and communicate progress to stakeholders24-01483 #LI-ML1
