The Production Support Data Analyst is a hands-on position focused on supporting the data accuracy and completeness of the enterprise data warehouse. The position will work within IT to help Sompo International in the maintenance of the companys data warehouse that measures performance of all aspects of the companys operations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESWorks with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze and resolve data issues for the enterprise data warehouseWhen necessary will creates source to target mapping documents to capture additional application data elements for loading from source systems into the enterprise data warehouseCollaborates with ETL team to ensure that source to target mappings are correctly translated into ETL code and that ETL code operates in line with STM requirementsPerforms data validation to confirm data is moved into the data warehouse correctlyWorks with reporting teams to assist them in understanding any reported variances between the data warehouse and source system applicationsTECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of data analysis experience for a data warehouse2 years P&C Insurance subject matter experience (Policy and Claims)Advanced SQL knowledgeExtensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL and BI Architectures, concepts, and frameworksCapable of creating and tuning Semantic layer Reporting ViewsCapable of facilitating data discovery sessions involving business subject matter expertsKnowledge of RDBMS platforms (e.g., SQL Server, DB2) with experience in generating DDL
