Position Description:

This position is directly involved in the day-to-day operations of Federal organizations providing on-site/contractor work site support services, to efficiently manage, store and integrate information and increase internal/external collaboration amongst organizational groups. The candidate will manage, develop, operate, and maintain Power BI/Power App Tools, MS SharePoint sites, dashboards, and related internal collaboration spaces. With the recent migration from MS SharePoint 2010 to Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO), develop customer requirements, data architecture, software design and ultimately, create automated solutions of varying complexity, following a methodical, agile process. The candidate will be required to provide training, customer support as a technical extension of the service desk, and meet specific mission needs, using the Microsoft SPO and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) to automate business processes, encourage knowledge sharing and improve operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Independently develop, modify, and improve the effectiveness, efficiency and visibility of the organization MS SharePoint sites, dashboards, and related internal collaboration space. Leverage MS SharePoint features, and associated tools to capture knowledge assets that improve operational collaboration and efficiency. Provide MS SharePoint collaboration space support for metrics reports and data analysis, design enhancements/design plans, data management strategies, training plan/user support, training events and platforms. Provide a data migration plan and stakeholder/community of interest facilitation and support. Lead assessment sessions to establish a common understanding of the work plan, including dependencies and responsibilities, project deliverables, and work products. Conduct requirements gathering, internal and external application development and automate processes/sub-processes using Microsoft power platforms and similar modern Microsoft applications. Design and implement customized SharePoint-based configurations using best practices to convey and gather information, enhance user experience. Create Metadata Term Store, Catalogs, Term-driven navigation, and Display Templates. Develop front end using web languages like HTML, Bootstrap, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, XML jQuery, and Rest API. Recommend changes regarding system and information architecture, security considerations, and governance. Enhance interfaces between SharePoint/other applications and programs. Identify and improve how the organization stores, records, and integrates SharePoint data. Develop and implement user-friendly improvements to applications/programs to lessen administrative workloads. Prepare meeting agendas, presentation slides, provide meeting facilitation support, develop literature and documents, compile notes and track action items in support of meetings. Provide training, standard operating procedures, user guides and templates and presentations on SharePoint and SharePoint-related tools/applications; attend senior level discussions on sites and tool development. Develop test cases and document technical features of the application; create files/instruction manuals for administering the SharePoint site. Troubleshoot any issue with the current application as well as participate in the development of new product features. Support all program/project planning and milestone development. Providing Weekly/Monthly Status Reports on SharePoint tasks and activities. Perform other SharePoint-related duties, as assigned. Required Skills and Experience:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to pass a background check. Minimum five (5) years' dedicated experience in an Information Technology role, planning, designing Microsoft SharePoint environments. Working knowledge of the interoperability of SharePoint Online and other Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.). Advanced knowledge of advance features of SharePoint Online (i.e., Excel Services, BCS, Enterprise Search, Usage Reporting, etc.) Advanced knowledge of InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint workflows Advanced knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, to further enhance the look and feel and boost functionality within SharePoint when using these methods. Must have hands-on experience consuming Web Services and extension of JavaScript/jQuery libraries using SOAP, REST, JSON. Familiarity with developing, maintaining, and using electronic and information technology to ensure Section 508 compliancy. Working knowledge of the configuration and setting for SharePoint WebParts, especially in the areas of List Filters, WebPart Filters, Search and Data Connections. Working knowledge of XSLT and how it relates to SharePoint specifically when it comes to XSL template manipulations (legacy SharePoint technologies). Experience with calculated fields and Content Query WebParts. Advanced debugging skills to also be able to debug system-wide technical problems. Proficient with Agile Development processes, defining detailed functional and technical requirements. Working knowledge of Office 365 / SharePoint Online, specifically Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Microsoft Flow. Working knowledge of integrating third party tools like Nintex, Metalogix, AvePoint, etc. Working knowledge of C#, SharePoint Object Model, SharePoint App Model, SharePoint Framework. Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to audiences, along with the ability to convey complex IT related solutions that are easily understood by non-technical personnel. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and work collaboratively with a team. Excellent documentation skills and attention to details. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Must exhibit an independent interest in the use of new technologies, tools, and professional development. Required Education:

BA/BS degree in an Information Technology-related field. Preferred Qualifications:
