Juniper Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Juniper Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Juniper network solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Juniper networking technologies, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain Juniper network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and security appliances, to meet client requirements.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather network requirements and develop tailored Juniper solutions that align with business objectives.Perform network assessments, audits, and analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Configure and troubleshoot Juniper routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.Implement and manage network security measures using Juniper security appliances and firewalls to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.Provide technical support and resolution for escalated network issues, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure prompt problem resolution.Conduct regular network monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning to proactively identify and address potential network bottlenecks or issues.Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for both internal and client-facing reference.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Juniper product developments to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the company.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Juniper Networks certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, or JNCIE are highly desirable.Proven experience (5+ years) as a Juniper Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Juniper network solutions.In-depth knowledge of Juniper routing and switching technologies, including Junos OS.Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, and VPNs.Experience with Juniper security solutions, including firewalls and security policies.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently as needed.
